Do you feel tired all the time?  Is your lack of energy causing you to miss out? If you suffer from fatigue, including Chronic Fatigue, you may wish to examine your diet. Fatty foods, and foods full of sugar and starch can have an adverse effect on the body.

Are you someone who tends to gravitate towards burgers and fries for a quick lunch or dinner?  Do you find that you tend to choose meals that include white bread, potato chips and sodas instead of fresh fruits and vegetables?  If so, then it’s not surprising that you are feeling tired. If you are not consuming proper nutrition, your body isn’t getting the fuel it needs to provide energy that all of your cells require.

Even small changes in your diet that decrease excess carbohydrates can make a noticeable difference in your energy level.  This will generally inspire you to work out more often.   When your body has had exercise you will usually sleep better at night.

If you find that you are watching your diet and exercising but you still feel sluggish, there can be a few issues.  You may have an imbalance in your hormones or thyroid.  It’s possible that there is something that you consume that is sabotaging your diet.

Sometimes we get caught in destructive cycles of  bad meal choices combined with a fitness program that isn’t tailored to our needs.  When that happens it can be very discouraging.  We all want quick results.  Unfortunately, some quick weight loss plans can deplete muscle which is detrimental to your overall fitness.

Doesn’t it feel great to wake up ready to start your day a few minutes before your alarm goes off? Do you know someone who gets up in the morning excited to go running or biking or who runs out to catch that first wave?  Most likely they are aware of how to balance fitness, nutrition and other important factors.  This results in more vitality to get out and enjoy life.  They generally sleep well and have a more positive outlook on life.  They have created a healthy lifestyle and it shows in all aspects of their lives.

True wellness is achieved by a balance of detoxification, proper nutrition, hormone equilibrium, and exercise.
